Some of us remember having sung “The Doxology” in church since the days of our childhood.  Your church may have sung it sometime during the worship service each and every Sunday; others…only occasionally.  But rare is the person who grew up going to church that doesn’t know it by heart.  The Bible says that God inhabits the praises of His people.  He’s probably not praised nearly as much as He should be these days.  Go ahead…sing it to Him…now.  He is deserving of every bit of it!

Exodus15:2

The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him.

Ephesians 1:3, 9-10

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  9 And He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment–to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

“One day all Christians will join in a doxology and sing God’s praises with perfection. But even today, individually and corporately, we are not only to sing the doxology, but to be the doxology.” ~ Francis Shaeffer

Praise the Lord!  And may He bless you and keep you…
