Many read these words the first thing in the morning…others at various other times during the day…some, the last thing before going to bed.  No matter when you read this, it is in the context of a certain day…a day that the Lord has brought about…created afresh and anew…a day during which you can worship Him with every act and every fiber of your being, for this is what you were created to do.  With so many things that will happen during these next 24 hours, we need to know that all of it is to be lived by God’s power and for God’s honor and glory…and in that, we can rejoice and be glad.

Psalm 118:23-24

23 This is the LORD’S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

“So, Lord…teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom.” ~ Moses (Psalm 90:12)
