How are you sleeping?  It seems that there are no shortage of issues that can creep into our lives and attempt to rob us from those precious hours and minutes of slumber that we seem to cherish more with every passing year of life.  God created us to require sleep…not too much…but enough.  Dr. David Jeremiah offers these helpful suggestions: “Try some adjustments to your evening routine. Instead of rehearsing your problems at bedtime, review your favorite Bible verses. Thank God for three or four specific blessings you’ve experienced during the day. Choose a promise as a pillow. In peace lie down and sleep, for the Lord makes you dwell in safety.”

Psalm 4:8

In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety.

Psalm 121:4-5

4 Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is your keeper.

“Someone has suggested that when you can’t sleep at night, instead of counting sheep, talk to the Shepherd.” ~ Warren Wiersbe

The Lord bless you and keep you…
