Becoming a believer in Jesus involves a radical change of life.  The old sinful ways of our former life must be “put off” and new, righteous ways must be “put on” in their place.  God works this change in us. In fact, He has planned it all out…but we must cooperate and, in the process, we develop a whole new set of godly habits…habits that are developed through perseverance.

Ephesians 2:10; 4:22-23

2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

4:22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

“A habit is like a cable: we weave a thread of it everyday, and at last we cannot break it — so we must form good, positive, and productive habits. ” ~ Horace Mann

The Lord bless you and keep you…
