Do you remember the old TV show, “Heehaw”?  They had this one segment of the show where they’d sing this song:  “Doom, despair, and agony on me. Deep, dark depression…excessive misery. If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all. Doom, despair and agony on me.”  Of course, there is no such thing as luck, neither good nor bad.  There is only God…and I’ll take the absolute certainty of God over anything…any day.  Our lives are in the hands of a loving God, Who is sovereign over all, in all, and through all…no luck about it.

Proverbs 16:33

The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.

Romans 8:28

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
