Financial investments…watching the stock markets trending…bulls or bears…uncertainties, speculations, or sure things…even savings accounts and bigger pay checks.  All the effort with God’s provision, but to what end?  Howard Dayton once said, “Jesus dealt with money matters because money matters.”  Indeed, it does!  So, Christian, with that comes a question from Jesus: In the treasures that you’re storing up…where’s your heart at?

Matthew 6;19-21

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

“He who lays up treasures on earth spends his life backing away from his treasures. To him, death is loss. He who lays up treasures in heaven looks forward to eternity; he’s moving daily toward his treasures. To him, death is gain. He who spends his life moving toward his treasures has reason to rejoice. Are you despairing or rejoicing?” ~ Randy Alcorn
