The life of the believer in Jesus is not simply a walk around the block, a trip, or even a long, long, journey.  The life of a Christian is a one-way pilgrimage, very progressive in nature, to one final destination: Heaven and Home…the Father’s House…where Jesus is!  David Jeremiah says, “It’s a prepared place for a prepared people!”

John 14:2-3, 6

2 “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also…6 [Then] Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Philippians 3:20

20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ

Hebrews 11:16

But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.
