We turn the corner on a new week…but, not just any week on the calendar.  This is the week we remember the Passion of Jesus, our Messiah.  On Sunday, we will celebrate the anniversary of His victorious resurrection.  But, for a resurrection to occur, there had to be a death…Jesus’ death on a cross…His blood profusely shed to pay for our sins…your sin…my sin…all sin.  God wanted the sin issue to be resolved, and only Jesus…God in human flesh…could pay the debt in full…for us.

Philippians 2:8

And being found in appearance as a man, Jesus humbled Himself and became obedient to death– even death on a cross!

Colossians 1:19-20

19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Jesus, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

“The cross is a one time, visual representation of God’s grief over sin.” ~ D.H. Harvey

The Lord bless you and keep you…
