It seems like there’s an uptick in houses being built.  In the process, people are submitting their ideas…their plans…for that new house of their dreams, to professional builders.  The builder, then, takes that plan, puts it to paper, according to his expertise, in order for the job to be done right…for the plan to succeed!  We should do the same thing with our life plans, daily…submit them, first, to the Lord, the “builder of our lives”…allow Him to conform them to His perfect will…resulting in the successful results that both He, and we, desire.

Proverbs 16:1-3

1 The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD. 2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight, but the LORD weighs the motives. 3 Commit your works to the LORD and your plans will be established.

Psalm 37:4-5

4 Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He will do it.
