There are times in our lives when God feels…distant.  You’ve probably heard it said that, in those times, God didn’t move…you did.  While that is true, it falls short of helping the situation.  We need some reassurance that the perceived distance can be closed…and for that, we need the truth…God’s Truth.  God understands…and the following reminders should help, since they come from Him, to us, in His powerful, living and active, Word…

Psalm 145:14-18

14 The LORD sustains all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down. 15 The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due time. 16 You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. 17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. 18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

James 4:8

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Matthew 28:20

Jesus said…be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

“Do you believe that God is near? He wants you to. He wants you to know that He is in the midst of your world. Wherever you are as you read these words, He is present.” ~ Max Lucado

The Lord bless you and keep you…
