“Praise the Lord!”  Have you said that lately?  The Bible, and especially the book of the Psalms, is saturated with God’s people giving praises to the Lord for a multitude of reasons.  Are you praising the Lord enough…as much as you could be…as much as you should be?  Why not start keeping a list of praises…reasons you have to give praise to God?  “Prime the pump” by taking a look at Psalms 146 – 150.  C’mon…it’ll do you good, and it will bring great joy to the Lord to hear you praise Him!  What a great way to start a new week!

Psalm 145:1-3

1 I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever. 2 Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever. 3 Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.

“When we bless God for mercies, we usually prolong them. When we bless God for miseries, we usually end them. Praise is the honey of life which a devout heart extracts from every bloom of providence and grace.”

~ C.H. Spurgeon

The Lord bless you and keep you…
