In all that we do, the Christian must realize, we do it according to a higher standard.  We do it for God. Everything is an act of worship, first and foremost.  Therefore, we do it to please Him…to give Him our best, no matter what it is, or who else it may be for.  And to accomplish that, we must put our heart into it…our whole heart and nothing less.  Half-heartedness won’t cut it…won’t bring the results that He desires.  He is worthy of our very best efforts, right?.  So, whatever you’re doing, in the doing…pray for His strength, be diligent, and put your heart into it…your whole heart!

Psalm 86:11-13 (NLT)
