So…the new year is here…and, along with it, many resolutions have been determined, setting a course for a new and improved direction in life in the coming 365 days, and beyond.  A Baptist minister named Palmer Hartsough had such resolutions on his heart and penned them into the lyrics of a hymn.  Consider, especially, these words of the third verse to add to your resolutions, not only for the year ahead, but forever…

I am resolved to follow the Savior,

Faithful and true each day;

Heed what He sayeth, do what He willeth,

He is the living Way.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15
