During these uncertain and unstable times, our economy has become an issue of great concern to many.  For those who have much invested…stored up…their can be much to gain…or much to lose.  Yes…financial stewardship and investment has its place in this life, but the dividends are only temporary, at best.  There is a far greater form of “investment” that the child of God must be focused on and participate in, and the dividends are of far greater value…eternal value.  To invest wisely and gain greatly requires that you “put your heart into it.”  Here, or Heaven…where is your heart?  And yes, its about far more than money.

Matthew 6:19-21

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Matthew 6:19-21

15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.
