I have a good friend and “brother in Christ” who consistently signs his written communications with one final word under his name.  The word is “Maranatha.”  I really appreciate him doing that because it always reminds me of what my true focus should be as I live my daily life on this planet.  It is the “Great Hope” of every believer in Jesus, for maranatha is a Greek word for that Hope, expressed: “Our Lord, come!”  It could literally happen at any moment, and we, who have trusted in Jesus, will be caught up by Jesus, to be with Him…in His presence…forever…instantaneously!  He is coming…soon! Are you ready…watching…anticipating…expecting?  Maranatha!

Titus 2:11-13

11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, 12 instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.

“Let us be alert to the season in which we are living. It is the season of the Blessed Hope, calling for us to cut our ties with the world and build ourselves on this One who will soon appear. He is our hope—a Blessed Hope enabling us to rise above our times and fix our gaze upon Him.” ~ A.W. Tozer

The Lord bless you and keep you…throughout the weekend.
