These are days of great confusion and great need…needs of all kinds…needs that have us looking for answers.  People are looking desperately to “the experts” for answers, but, for the Christian, the desire should be for the right answers, from the One whose expertise exceeds all others…your Savior, your Shepherd, Who will only lead you in paths of righteousness, not only for your greatest need, but all of your needs.  Will we seek His Word and His will…and will we listen to His voice?

Psalm 23:1-3

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. 3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

Isaiah 30:20-21

20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. 21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a Voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

“If God had perceived that our greatest need was economic, He would have sent an economist. If He had perceived that our greatest need was entertainment, He would have sent us a comedian or an artist. If God had perceived that our greatest need was political stability, He would have sent us a politician. If He had perceived that our greatest need was health, He would have sent us a doctor. But He perceived that our greatest need involved our sin, our alienation from Him, our profound rebellion, our death; and He sent us a Savior.” ~ D. A. Carson
