We have a promise-making, promise-keeping God! Ever wondered how many promises God has made to man?  Many have attempted to estimate and others have actually counted them in the Bible. A man named Everet Storms decided to make a concerted effort to count the promises of God to man during his 27th time reading through the Bible.  He found 7,487!  Did you know that God promises to keep His promises?  He does.  According to revered Bible scholar, Matthew Henry, God refers to them as His “everlasting arms.”

Deuteronomy 33:27

“The eternal God is a dwelling place, And underneath are the everlasting arms.”
