John 15:1-2

Jesus said…1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.

“Remember the hopeful truth that the Vinedresser is never closer to the branches than when He is pruning them. He is nearest you when He prunes you, and His pruning will make you a better worshipper. Don’t shrink back from His pruning. Don’t think He comes to destroy you. His pruning, when viewed through the lenses of eternity and the Kingdom of God, makes for fruit that lasts.” ~ Mary DeMuth
