If we’re not careful, our passing days can become just a “check-off” on the calendar…especially these days as many are still “sheltering.”  The word “monotonous” comes to mind. When you’re walking with Jesus, no day is “just another day.”

Some of us sang a song together this past Sunday with this lyric addressed from us, to God: “The sun comes up, It’s a new day dawning. It’s time to sing Your song again!”  So, as the sun is coming up on this day, let the lyrics of another song…this song of David… stimulate you to see this day as something to look forward to…in your walk with your God and Savior. He’s right there…ready to go with you…through today…the day that He has “ordained”…ordered and structured…just for you.  Let’s go…it’s time to sing His song again!

Psalm 139:1-6, 16-18

1 O LORD, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. 3 You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. 4 Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O LORD, You know it all. 5 You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it…16 And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.

“Don’t just count your days. Count on the God who has ordered each of your days. Now…walk with God!” ~ PD
