God is always working, and He is always working on us, in us, and through us. His work is not taking place in some kind of “spiritual laboratory”…outside of our circumstances.  His work…His sanctifying work of making us more like His Son, Jesus…is always taking place in, and during, the course of our circumstances…in real time…in real life!  That is the expression of His complete, loving sovereignty over everything…over us.  So, He is here; always here. He is at work; always at work. And you are a vital part of His work…always.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
