1 Timothy 2:1-2

1 First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

And so, God has spoken in this window of time in our history, in our country.  But what we did in the past…what we were doing yesterday…does not change.  We continue to pray. We continue to trust only in the sovereign purpose and direction of our God, and we persevere in steadfast obedience to the command of our God to intercede on behalf of those who are in positions of authority over us according to His Divine providence.

No matter what, we are blessed. May God continue to bless us by His grace and mercy…
