11 But…you, man of God, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

I saw this displayed in the life of my Father-in-law, Robert W. Mayer, for nearly forty years and, today, having fought the good fight, the battle is over, the victory is won, and he is forever with His Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord!  Another saint, in glory, stands!
